What are the typical main subjects in school? The most common subjects at school are Language Arts, history, mathematics, physical education, and science. But have you ever compared your classes and had a favorite class because it was easy? We all have a class we either like or do not, depending on what it is. But the question is, what would be considered the easiest subject(s) for everyone?
The first subject to be used was general studies, having seven disciplines—grammar, rhetoric, dialectic, arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy. All of it being founded in 1947 by the Columbia University School of General Studies. That being a lot of subjects, they cut it down to the subjects we have today. But which subject was created first? Many people have opinions on which came first but according to research, science was the first subject to be created.
At our school, we are provided with the subjects that we need to learn for the outside world. Teachers have helped us throughout the years to give us the best education for us to use in the future. Being able to understand which subject all of us are good at is good for us to invent something new. Whether you do not like it or not, it could really help in the future depending on the subject. Every subject that has been created is put to beneficial use.
Now considering all the subjects that have been talked about, they all have been used for centuries. Science has been used for solving problems we face with technology. Language Arts has been used to improve our vocabulary and intelligence to write for noble causes. Math promotes healthy brain function and helps with daily life skills. History helps us understand how events in the past have made things the way that they are today.
Having asked students questions about which subject is the hardest, most of them had said math. “I feel it’s hard for me because of the steps that go with it and mixing it up with other steps,” one student said, which is quite understandable. Another student commented on how they feel science is not their best subject since they struggle having to focus on it. Those being the top 2 subjects that people struggle on, they are considered the hardest. According to students, math is in the top tier of being the hardest subject that they have struggled on. Especially having asked many students which subject they feel will be useful in their future, it was a mix between math and science.
In short, all the subjects depend on who likes them the most. Everyone has their own opinion on what they consider is the easiest. But in general, all the subjects are helpful. Whether a subject being considered hard or easy, it helps with daily life activities. Every subject is easy, depending on which is the easiest for you. So whichever subject you think is the easiest, don’t be scared to try to succeed in other subjects.
